Working ahead due to State Softball

I'm working ahead right now so I can get ahead (at work) so I can get away, thus causing me to be behind. Twin River School has qualified for State Tournaments, Class C something. Our granddaughter is lead pitcher, so really do just have to attend.

I'd go Thursday except:

If they don't let school out Thursday, then anyone who can take over for me will be teaching or subbing. My only other option is playing around in Vegas or being lead pitcher at the tournament.

I will go on Friday. They definitely will let school out that day. However, as you noticed for Thursday, everyone who can walk or crawl will be at State. "Other" will be back from Vegas, but she's a retired teacher (who NEVER subs) but will definitely attend the tournament.

Therefore, we're closing the library Friday since it'll be one of those "the last one out of town turn out the lights" deals.

Which learning tool shall I use? Hmmm, plan ahead?

Hi Sharon,

I'd kind of like to see you as lead pitcher. Could you have somebody video that??LOL I'd go check out the Vegas quilt shops myself. The casinos really aren't of much interest to me, watching my husband's 401(k) sink has been way to much gambling for me.

Hello Ms. Genoa Public Library--I am Mary Kay Johnson's daughter and I work at one of the libraries in Lincoln. I was happy to see your blog following along with the 23 Things! I have lots of fond memories of using the Genoa library while growing up and I even still have my library card. Good luck in your 23 Things journey!

No, you really, really, really don't want to see that.

The 401(k) won't rise as fast as it fell, but it'll be okay someday. Just stay tough. As my husband quotes, "Life's a gamble, and then you die."

At least your team made it to state softball. The team we were following did not make it (LV-SS), so I will be going to the Library conference in Lincoln instead.
